Please Try Harder was born from an everyday struggle with mental and emotional health.

The goal has always been to be that support—the quiet voice in the back of your mind reminding you that you can always try harder, even on the hardest days.

Mark, Shoebill the Brand’s founder, shares the inspiration behind the collection: “Being the friend who never really opens up to anyone left me in a space where I felt like I didn’t have anyone telling me those things… so I thought, why not be that person instead?”

We don’t always get the help we want or need. But that shouldn’t stop us from being that source of strength for someone else.
